We have wide-ranging and instrumental initiatives in sustainable cotton production, notably Regenerative Cotton and Meander 71. We invest heavily in energy and water conservation, and uphold the highest ethical standards as they pertain to labor practices and prioritize the wellbeing of our team. But when we talk about a sustainable future, we are not only talking about our textile business.

SÖKTAŞ has a long-standing commitment to the archeological heritage of the region it was founded in. Among the latest projects we’ve supported, the excavations at the ancient city of Euromos hold a special place. We are proud to be a part of this impressive endeavor led by Professor Abuzer Kızıl and his team.

Ilyas Bey Complex Renovation project
Our founding family, with deep roots in the region, sponsored a landmark conservation project called İlyas Bey complex. The İlyas Bey complex, built in 1404 by the principality’s ruler, cosseting of a mosque, a madras, an imaret, a double hamam and a market is a masterpiece reflecting the principal characteristics of the era
Award for İlyas Bey project.
Our founders’ belief in socially responsible projects and their family ties to the building led them to engage in a sound restoration which has resulted in the announcement of a prestigious 2012 Europa Nostra Conservation award for this project.
